Mountain T-Shirts & Graphic Tees — Hajar Mountains, UAE

Most mountain t-shirts carry a peak that could be anywhere — a stock silhouette with a slogan underneath. Ours has one range on it, and it is this country's: the Hajar Mountains, which run through the northern Emirates and on into Oman.

The design takes the language of a topographic map literally. The peaks on the front are reduced to contour lines; the red rock itself is printed across the back, with the coordinates beneath it. It is inspired by Wadi Naqab, a seasonal wadi high in the Hajar below Jebel Jais, in Ras Al Khaimah.

One design, two cuts: a slim Regular and a true drop-shoulder Oversized.

Fabric, cut and make

Printed, and where

The mountain graphic is printed direct to garment: the ink goes into the cotton rather than sitting on top of it as a film, so it stays soft and the fabric keeps breathing. The small mark above it is embroidered.

The cloth and the fit

230gsm combed ring-spun cotton, in Flint Gray, cut unisex in S to XL.

Regular is a slim, straight cut — most people take one size up from their usual letter. Oversized has a true dropped shoulder, the seam sitting 2–3″ below your natural shoulder, so the width reads as a shape rather than a bigger shirt.

Is this a hiking shirt?

No, and we would rather say so. It is a heavyweight cotton t-shirt, not a technical garment — it will not wick sweat the way a synthetic hiking shirt does. It is made for the drive out, the evening at camp and everywhere after.
