Wadi Showka

Wadi Showka sits in the Hajar foothills of Ras Al Khaimah, an accessible mountain wadi laced with rock pools, shaded gravel trails and dam-fed streams. It's a favourite for easy hiking, mountain biking and beginner-friendly camping, with sweeping ridge views and a network of marked paths.

After rain the pools fill and the wadi comes alive; in the cooler months it's a perfect half-day escape or relaxed overnight under the mountains. A 2WD reaches the main areas, though a high-clearance vehicle opens up more of the trails.
