Two of our designs come from the desert, and they come from opposite ends of the same day.

The Empty Quarter tee is the evening: a tonal sun setting over the dune ridges of Liwa, on the northern edge of the Rub' al Khali. It is embroidered rather than printed — thread laid into the cloth, sand on sand.

The Al Quaa Galaxy tee is the night that follows: the Milky Way as it rises over Al Quaa, one of the darkest accessible skies in the Emirates, printed across the back with a small embroidered mark on the chest.

Both come in a slim Regular and a true drop-shoulder Oversized.

Fabric, cut and make

Embroidered or printed

The two desert designs are made differently, on purpose. The Empty Quarter is embroidered throughout, with no print anywhere on it. The Al Quaa Galaxy is printed direct to garment across the back — the ink goes into the cotton rather than sitting on top — with the mark on the chest embroidered.

The cloth and the fit

230gsm combed ring-spun cotton, cut unisex in S to XL.

Regular is a slim, straight cut — most people take one size up from their usual letter. Oversized has a true dropped shoulder, the seam sitting 2–3″ below your natural shoulder.

Frequently asked questions

Are these made for the desert heat?

They are 230gsm cotton — heavier than a standard t-shirt, and not a technical garment. In the heat, fit matters more than weight: cloth held slightly off the skin moves more air, which is where the Oversized cut helps. Most people wear them for the drive out and the evening, once it cools.

Where are Liwa and Al Quaa?

Both are in Abu Dhabi. Liwa sits on the northern edge of the Empty Quarter, the largest continuous sand desert in the world; Al Quaa is inland in the south-east, far from city light.

How much are they, and how fast is delivery?

AED 199 each, in Regular or Oversized. In the UAE, delivery is free and arrives the next working day when you order by 2 pm.
