Sir Bani Yas Island

Sir Bani Yas Island is a natural island and pioneering wildlife reserve off Abu Dhabi's western coast, home to thousands of free-roaming animals including Arabian oryx, giraffes, cheetahs and gazelles. Part of a decades-long conservation effort, the Arabian Wildlife Park offers a genuine safari within the UAE.

Access is by boat or short flight, usually as a day trip or as a stay at the island's resorts. Beyond the wildlife drives you'll find mangroves, salt domes, archaeological sites and quiet beaches — a unique blend of conservation, history and coastline found nowhere else in the country.
